Deaf in Government's March 8-9 Conference:

Deaf in Government (DIG) serves as the only national non-profit organization for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (HoH) government employees and contractors from all levels of government. DIG has partnered with Pac Rim to welcome you to the 38th Pacific Rim International Conference on Disability and Diversity in Honolulu, Hawaii on March 6-7 2023 proceeding the DIG Conference on March 8-9. (Registration information for Pac Rim is below). Part of DIG's mission is to empower Deaf and HoH government employees and contractors by offering opportunities for networking, career advancement, and professional growth. DIG is proud to offer the Deaf Innovation Strand Track as part of the Pac Rim Conference in furtherance of our mission and during Pac Rim Conference, CEO of Sorenson Communications will be giving an opening  The Deaf Innovation Strand Track offers a variety of informative sessions that cover strategies for overcoming communication barriers in the workplace, training resources for government career advancement, and discussions of issues affecting a diverse workforce. Each of these workshops is intended to help attendees build and improve their professional and leadership skills. Registration for the Pac Rim's Post DIG Conference is open to all Pac Rim attendees who may be interested in enriching their knowledge of Deaf culture, community, and language.  We hope that many of you will take this opportunity to attend both Pac Rim and DIG Conferences.

The purchase of the registration provides you access to both days of the DIG Regional Conference at the Post Pacific Rim International Conference on Disability and Diversity on March 8 & 9, 2023! Take advantage of our special Early Bird Rate which is only available now through 1/1/23!

DIG Seeks Presenters:

DIG is seeking presenters for the Deaf Conference who are interested in providing more information about resources and services in professional advancement for Deaf and HoH government employees. DIG is additionally interested in offering demonstration of current technologies of cloud, information technology operation, content management, and accessibility.  All attendees may include those who work as human resource managers, equal employment opportunity specialists, agency representatives, directors and supervisors in government agencies. The audience will range from early career professionals to seasoned professionals. DIG encourages both government and non-government employees to apply as presenters.
